Gratitude

Why do I live? Has this question ever came to your mind? It come across my mind multiple times, and today, I want to share it. I wrote this article in the train on my way back to Jakarta. Train is one of my favorite place where you can reflect yourself 🙂. I come to this thought as the officer in Bandung Station, give salute when the train was leaving. Right after I see that, I want to capture this moment, but I were not prepared to take the picture of this moment. Still, I give a thought, and I have 2 questions: What is the point of them in doing that!? Are they feel that their role is important? …

The Purpose of My Life

Recently some people around me doubting about their purpose of life and it made me think about mine as well. It’s a tricky question why most of people want to live despite their living situation. I look at my surrounding in office and around my living place. Today, right after I step out from the fence, I see old man walk with carrying trash cart without any smile drawn on his face. On my way to office, I see numbers of kids ride bicycle and man around his 30th pedaling a bakery cart with happy face. While waiting in front of the elevator, a man in a phone talk about marketing strategy to rebound the business and inside the elevator, …

2019 will meet its end in 3 days, and I’m wondering about anything I have got from this year. Many things is happened over my life, both good and bad. In July to August I had an increasing salary, obviously it’s not very special tho because everybody in my office obviously got this too haha. Around October, me and my ex decided to take a break and I regain my old life as an independent man :D. I belief million of couples also had same fate as ours in 2019 :peace:. Not to have Children

In India, young women who are capable of child bearing, chose not to do it, we will institute an award for them because right now the greatest service you can do in the world is you’re not extra populating this planet. If, suppose you were a female tiger, then I would have encouraged you, please breed, please breed. Because it’s an endangered species. Well you know see we are not endangered. Wherever you go there is a crowd. Well, to protect a nation you have to build a wall otherwise people are coming. Obviously there’s too much population everywhere isn’t it? So.. This is something we need to look at in a very fundamental way. This is happening because the …

10 Life Lessons You’d Better Learn Early on in Life

There are so many lessons I wish I had learned while I was young enough to appreciate and apply them. The thing with wisdom, and often with life lessons in general, is that they’re learned in retrospect, long after we needed them. The good news is that other people can benefit from our experiences and the lessons we’ve learned. Here’re 10 important life lessons you should learn early on: 1. Money Will Never Solve Your Real Problems Money is a tool; a commodity that buys you necessities and some nice “wants,” but it is not the panacea to your problems. There are a great many people who are living on very little, yet have wonderfully full and happy lives… and …

She, After 17 months

To be together is good, but to be alone, it’s good too. Today, I’m going to visit Bandung, my hometown and I drop some moment to think about it. 7th April 2019, 12 months have been passed since our first met. a year with her, is neither so smooth nor so rough, but for sure, no relationship between two can be traversed without any conflicts on it. Conflicts did happen, it can be opinion, perspective, or the way we response to the circumstances yet they never be too difficult to be resolved and I’m happy for it. Many things between us had been changed, yea people changed, but they’re still in a positive boundary. The changes happened both externally and …

Should Speak out or Hold Back?

When we feel uncomfortable about something should we say it or should we remain quiet? So many of us feel like we have to suppress our thoughts and opinions and that’s not healthy because we don’t feel good on the inside. Yet, if we voice out loud what we think and feel it really may come across as offensive or confrontational. Communication isn’t easy, especially when we want to remain true to ourselves and speak out yet at the same time we want to keep the peace and not rock the boat. But as with everything there is always a middle path, a place where we’re able to be completely authentic to ourselves yet at the same time completely aware …

Building and the Builder

Friends of mine endeavored to build another building on their property and it ended up being a major undertaking. In fact, it turned out to be the most difficult thing he had ever done. I mean, it took a strip out of his hide. Eventually it got built, but you know what my friend says about it? He says, “You see that building? I didn’t build that building. It built me.” Going through those trials, facing those difficulties, having his faith tested, all of that built character in him as he stood the test.
